Workshop on Financial Literacy at 3rd Centenary
A workshop on ‘Financial Literacy’ was organized in Guru Tegh Bahadur 3rd Centenary Public School, Mansarover Garden, New Delhi, on 9th December, 2019. The resources persons were Mrs. Anita Relan – Financial Literacy Counsellor for all PM’s mission programs, social security and government schemes and Mr. Gopal Prasad – Lead District Manager of all the banks under New Delhi District. The aim of the workshop was to equip the students with the knowledge and skill needed to manage money effectively and to sensitize them regarding various Prime Minister’s schemes, social security schemes, Atal pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana , etc. Resources persons also shared some instances of fraudulent activities in the cyber world. They also gave valuable tips to students regarding how to protect themselves from such activities. This information and interactive session benefitted the students immensely.
