Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s Prakash Utsav was celebrated at Guru Tegh Bahadur 3rd Centenary Public School, C-Block, Mansarover Garden, New Delhi in the school assembly with great zeal, enthusiasm and fervor. The stage was aesthetically decorated with pictures and quotations from Gurbani. The celebrations commenced with Gurbani recital –“Dithe sabhe thav nahe tudh jeha”, Gavo suno padho nit bhai”, soulful renditions by the students of the divinity choir of the school, attired in white and saffron colours. Sehajdeep Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur of Std. X B acquainted the students with the philosophy propounded in the hymns of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in their speech “God is one. All are children of God, hence equal; no one is superior or inferior.” Many more such pearls of wisdom from Guru Granth Sahib Ji, were shared with the gathering. Students were urged to imbibe the teachings in their lives. Sahejdeep Kaur also rendered a poem ‘Guru Granth Sahib Ji’. The programme culminated with the distribution of Kadah Prashad.
